La Formule Ford est une catégorie de sport automobile, monoplace.
Née à la fin des années 60 en Grande Bretagne, elle consiste à confronter des chassis libres construits autour d'un moteur Ford aux modifications strictement règlementées.
A ce jour, deux motorisations ont jalonné l'histoire de la catégorie.
Véritable école de la course, les nombreuses séries organisée dans cette catégorie ont vu évolué de futurs champion du monde : Emerson FITTIPALDI, Ayrton SENNA, Damon HILL pour n'en citer qu'un petit nombre (voir la rubrique Personne ci-dessous).

Formula Ford is a category of motorracing single seaters.
Born at the end of the 60 in Great Britain, it consists of chassis freely designed around a Ford engin on which modifications have to satisfy strict rules.
To date, two kind of engines have been used in the History of the category.
Being pure racing academies, the numerous series organized according to that category have seen many futur talents blossoming: Emerson FITTIPALDI, Ayrton SENNA, Damon HILL just to name a few. (See the rubric people here below)
